What Modos is

Modos is the operating system for small service businesses. It connects the tools you already run on — Gmail and other inboxes, calendar, Slack and WhatsApp, Drive and Dropbox, quotes and proposals, invoices, client notes, and call transcripts — into the Business Graph: a living model of how your business actually works.

From that graph, Modos handles the backbone for you: faster replies that win work, follow-ups that fire, scheduling, and invoices chased and paid. There's no new system of record — Modos works inside the tools your team is already in.

You set the pace. Modos operates at the level of autonomy you choose, and every action stays under your say-so.

Getting started

Working with Modos today

Modos is in early access. Here's how to get started:

Step 01

Request access

Drop your email on the homepage or write to support@modos.ai. We're onboarding a small group of design partners now and will reach out as the next cohort opens.

Step 02

Onboarding call

We map the tools you already run on, the work moving across them, and the parts of the business you'd most want off your plate — so we can shape your Business Graph.

Step 03

Design-partner engagement

Modos works hands-on with a small group of design-partner businesses. We connect your tools, tune Modos to your voice, and dial in the autonomy level — white-glove, not self-serve.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Modos?

The operating system for small service businesses. It connects the tools you already run on into the Business Graph — a living model of how your business actually works — and handles the backbone for you: replies, scheduling, follow-ups, and invoices.

Which tools does Modos connect to?

The tools you already use: Gmail and other inbox providers, calendar, Slack and WhatsApp, Drive and Dropbox, quotes and proposals, invoices, client notes, and call transcripts. There's no new system of record.

Who is Modos for?

Owner-led service businesses — solo operators up to teams of about ten — that run on an inbox, a calendar, and memory. Recruiters, photographers, bookkeepers, AV and home installers, event planners, brokers, boutique consultants, trades and field service, and many more.

Is Modos available today?

Modos is in early access, working with a small group of design-partner businesses. The best way to explore access is to request it from the homepage.

Do you train AI models on our data?

No. Your data shapes your Business Graph, not our models.

How is our data protected?

Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, tenant isolation, and audit logging — see Security & data handling below. Our SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress.

How do we get started?

Request access from the homepage, or email support@modos.ai.

Security

Security & data handling

Modos works with the operating data your business runs on — client communications, contracts, calendars, invoices, and notes. Protecting it is foundational to how we build. These are the principles Modos is designed around, and the controls we're formalizing through our SOC 2 Type II audit:

Encryption

Data encrypted in transit and at rest.

Role-based access

Governed by role — owner, staff, contractor — with clear boundaries for who can see and act on what.

Tenant isolation

Your business's data is yours alone. No other business on Modos can see it.

Auditability

Actions, queries, and agent decisions logged and traceable.

No training on your data

Your data shapes your Business Graph, not our models.

SOC 2 Type II

In progress: our controls are mapped to the SOC 2 framework and the audit is underway.
